AFTER MASSAGE SUGGESTIONS TO MAXIMIZE EFFECTIVENESS!!!

SITE INDEX:

1. Drink Water- Drinking water helps to replace fluids lost during a massage session and to flush out toxins that are released from the tissues into the blood. This helps to delude toxins as well as to speed up the elimination of toxins. Drinking water after a massage also helps to avoid dehydration, dizziness, and possible nausea.

2. * Try This Bath Formula- This Bath Formula helps to draw toxins out of the body through the skin (the largest organ of the body). This helps the body eliminate toxins much faster by causing the toxins to be released through the trillions and trillions of pores in the skin. The Bath Formula is very highly recommended for everyone who has a deep therapeutic massage session and works best when taken right before bedtime the same day after the massage session. This Bath Formula will help to speed the elimination of toxins, speed recovery and healing, help reduce soreness and prevent soreness, and will promote restful sleep. The Bath Formula is as follows:

4 cups of "Apple Cider Vinegar"
&
1 pound of "Sea Salts / or Mineral Salts"

(Optional additional ingredients to help reduce inflammation or swelling:
Add also 40 drops of Ginger essential oils / or 5-6 bags of Ginger tea to the bath water.
'You may also drink a cup of some 'Ginger Tea' while your soaking in the tub because
it works internally as well and this will help speed the effectiveness.')

* Add all the bold, underlined, and your choice of optional ingredients listed above into a tub full of water, which is as warm as comfortable, allowing the salts to dissolve. Mix ingredients by hand to insure the temperature is comfortable and salts have dissolved completely, then slowly soak your body in the tub (Note: Do NOT wash up in this bath Just Soak in it! This is an especially important note for women, since washing up may cause feminine PH problems, but "Just Soaking" should be quite safe and beneficial). You may wish to drain the tub afterwards, then take a normal bath or shower if desired to get rid of the funny smell of vinegar, but the bath formula can have a bit more of an effect if you just leave it on over night and shower in the morning. Soak at least a minimum of 15-30 minutes or longer to allow the ingredients in the tub to interact with the skin and begin to take effect. You may like to bring something to read, or play some relaxing mood music softly in the background, and burn some candles. It is also highly recommended to have a glass of water or Ginger tea close at hand during your soak in the Bath Formula to sip in order to remain hydrated because eliminating toxins from the body also causes dehydration. Always stay hydrated! When getting out of the tub move slowly and deliberately to avoid slipping and to make sure you do not feel dizzy. It is good to try to go right to bed afterwards in order to allow the body to begin recovery and healing.

3. Try to do stretching or some form of physical (stretching) Yoga- Stretching between massage sessions is an excellent way to retain as much of the benefits of each massage session as possible and promotes the progressive improvement of conditions. My recommendation is to try a beginners Hatha Yoga. If you are to tight or time does not permit a class, then at least try to sit on the floor as much as possible instead of a chair or couch because any which way the body interacts with the floor provides passive stretches. At first sitting on the floor may be uncomfortable, but after time as the body gets loosened up it will begin to be more and more comfortable. You may even wish to use blankets or pillows in the beginning to help ease some of the discomfort if it is too difficult. If you do this you will be amazed at how much benefits can be gained from this simple little adjustment of lifestyle. If you find yourself watching television make sure you get on the floor! At least then you can say you are never a couch potato! Of course this might not help to defend against accusations of being a floor potato... hehe
